Why Choose Us

Relevance
We are the only flying school in the entire continent that teaches SPINNING at PPL level and MORSE CODE at CPL. level, We still believe that they are relevant.
Caravan Rating
On completion, KSOF offers its graduates Cessna Caravan Rating from our sister Charter Company – Aeronav at a subsidized rate of $1,000. We are the only flying school who offers this facility that enables our students to get employment. Top students are also offered jobs in our sister company – AERONAV or at the very most offered chance to build hours on the fleet.
Cost
It is ONLY at KSOF where the cost per hour is the same for both Cessna 150, 152 and the larger Cessna 172 and Piper Cherokee 28.
Maintenance
We are the only school with its own maintenance facility thereby ensuring safety and extra exposure to our students.
Exposure
Our students are exposed to high attitude and high temperatures in Orly Air-park (Isinya), followed by strong severe crosswinds training at the Coast and climaxed by ‘heavy traffic shock’ at Wilson Airport.
Aviation Holiday Program
It is only at KSOF that secondary school students (Pioneer Schools, Mangu, Juja, Maseno, Dawamu, Mt. Kenya) among others, join us in holiday programme from Form one and attain their Private Pilot License (PPL) before their KCSE results are out.
Professionalisim
Kenya School of Flying aims to impart professionalism and safety ethics to all our graduate pilots. We have professional and experienced instructors who are skilled to offer the best. They are very conversant with mordern digital training methodologies which accelerate students' performance
Residential Accomodation
We are the only flying school that offers accommodation to its national and international students in three locations namely: Orly Airpark (lsinya), Ukunda (South Coast) and Malindi. Residential flight training reduces course duration and helps in maintaining focus to the students.
Responsibility and Accountability
We strongly believes in this and we are continually assessing and evaluating the student's progress resulting discontinuation of 20-30% of our intake. This ensures only the very best released to the job market
