PPL Holiday Programme.
Descriptions
The School Holiday Program for High school students aged between 13 and 17 years, provide orientation into aviation industry for exposure to young aspiring pilots.
Students are exposed to ground school training, flying experience and exposure to other pilot related skills aimed at enhancing their character formation.
At the end of every year the students have music classes. As part of the program the students also get motivational speakers on ethics, religion, life skills and enjoy excursions to the Indian Ocean and Shimba Hills National Park.
The program provides this experience to about 250 high school students each year. About 40% of them come back to pursue the flying career with KSoF.
This program provides a good pipeline for KSoF student enrolment and helps its perticipants gain lifelong skillls that help them sail through the current related challenge of peer pressure.
