  Our Chairman and CEO, Captain Ririani, founded KSOF after an illustrious career in aviation. Starting as an Air Traffic Officer, he went on to fly for East African Airways and Kenya Airways (KQ) on aircraft like the DC9, B707, and Airbus 310. With over 23,000 flying hours and experience on the KCAA board, he brings unmatched leadership to KSOF.

  As Chief Flight Instructor and Director, Captain Shah is at the heart of our training. She’s also Chief Pilot at Aeronav Air Charter and holds an Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL) with over 14,000 flying hours. Plus, she’s a certified KCAA Flight Examiner for PPL, CPL, and Multi/IR, ensuring our students receive top-notch instruction.

  Our Financial Director, Judy, holds an MBA from MUA University and boasts over 30 years of experience in finance. She’s the backbone of KSOF’s financial operations and a key shareholder.

If you’re financially ready, you can obtain your PPL, CPL, Multi-engine, and Instrument Rating within just two years. That’s a fast track to the skies!

4. EDUCATION
   Do you meet the minimum requirement of a C+ in English, Mathematics, Physics, and Geography? If you do – or even better, if you have a degree – your chances of success in this career skyrocket.
5. HEALTH
   You’ll undergo a KCAA-approved medical examination, ensuring you’re physically and mentally fit to fly. Ready for it?

Accommodation

Unique Training

Affordability
At KSOF, you pay the same rate per flying hour whether you’re training on a smaller Cessna 150/152 or the larger Cessna 172. No hidden costs!

We train you in a variety of challenging conditions:

• High altitudes & temperatures: Train at Orly Air-park (Isinya).
• Strong crosswinds: Gain experience on the coast.
• Busy airspace: Get a taste of heavy traffic at Wilson Airport.

We’re the only flying school that offers a holiday program for secondary school students. Partnering with top schools like Pioneer, Mangu, Juja, and more, we help students earn their Private Pilot License (PPL) before their KCSE results even come out!

Our in-house maintenance facility guarantees safety and extra learning opportunities. We also offer our top graduates Cessna Caravan Rating at a subsidized rate through our sister company Aeronav – giving them a head start in their aviation careers.
